Alan Armstrong
2013 marked the 50th year for Alan Armstrong as an artist.
In 1963 Alan was chosen by Gem Ball Markers to advertise their new line of art pens. Being paid in art materials was a fantastic offer for a young budding artist. He was given enough art supplies to last a few years. Alan’s 50 years of artistic adventures in other countries are many, yet closer to home one influence stands out more than the rest, the sea side. |

Brenda BrooksA well known local artist, the warmth and exuberance of her paintings reflect her sharp observation of, and empathy with the people that surround her. Influenced by her great grandfather, a fine art dealer, she feels her French Huguenot ancestry can be seen in the colourful treatment of her subject matter.
Now well established her work is regularly exhibited in London galleries, and many others in the South of England. |
